Character Intro - Sgt. Tyrone Bishop
Joining the Army proved to be both the best and worst choice that Sgt. Tyrone Bishop ever made. Growing up in the Harlem was hard, and after a couple of years at a trade school and some work on the streets, the military seemed to be his only way out. Tyrone begrudgingly joined the US Army, but soon found love for both the discipline of his new life as well as for his favorite new gal, Ms. Betty (AKA his M60). Now a pigman, Tyrone found himself a part of the truck-bound 3/10 Infantry, meant to help support the 3/70 armor the night of the attack. Tyrone was lucky enough to escape the slaughter that took place, but is now separated from his unit.
Normally a confident and stable-minded individual (though occasionally a little hot-headed), Sgt Bishop is beginning to struggle with his identity in the wake of more than 2 years of combat in Europe. His disposition toward life has hardened (even more so than it was growing up in Harlem), and recently he's taken to speaking to his weapons as though they're family. In truth, Bishop's patience with what he perceives as weakness in others is wearing thin, and he's found that he normally can rely more on his weapons to survive a battle than his squadmates.
Motivations:
Ace of Hearts - Just - Growing up in the inner city and witnessing life's injustices first-hand has led to Tyrone having a devout sense of justice. He insists on doing what he feels is the right thing in a situation, and has little sympathy for those that he feels have poor personal ethics.
7 of Clubs - Moderately Violent - Years of war combined with watching his peers die in vain have left Sgt. Bishop a hardened man. For the most part, he is able to channel his aggression toward his enemies and those he finds unjust. Whether he is able to continue doing so remains to be seen, however.
