An eight-wheeled, amphibious, armored personnel carrier.
The BTR8O has a side door and roof hatch for both the
driver and commander, and a hatch in,the deck of the turret
for the gunner. There are large overhead hatches for the
passengers on the vehicle deck and a hatch on each side
in the middle of the vehicle. Three firing ports are located
on each side of the vehicle.
